60-year-old Nils longs for an independent life in harmony with nature and takes refuge in a small wooden cabin in the mountains in Norway. Despite his attempt to distance himself from modern society, he takes his cell phone with him. There, surrounded by the rugged Norwegian wilderness, Nils is followed with his desire for human contact. The need to share his “isolation” with the outside world via his cell phone is irresistible. This documentary observes how Nils tried to find the balance between contact with himself, nature and the outside world.
